Relationship intelligence

Effective July 23, 2026 · CareerGraph extension v0.3.9 public beta
What CareerGraph does
CareerGraph is a local-first browser extension from ISSALABS. When you explicitly enable Ambient Radar and intentionally open a supported LinkedIn job detail, company page, or person profile, CareerGraph can turn visible page facts into a private signal, opportunity dossier, company target, relationship brief, draft, or follow-up reminder.
CareerGraph does not crawl unseen pages, harvest feeds or search results, send messages, send connection requests, or make professional decisions for you.
Data processed
On supported pages, CareerGraph may process only the visible facts needed for its local workflow:
- Job pages: job identity, title, company, location, canonical URL, and a bounded description excerpt.
- Company pages: company identity, name, category, location, canonical URL, and a bounded About excerpt. A company observation may be promoted into a local company target.
- Profile pages: profile identity, name, headline, location, connection degree when visible, and canonical URL.
- Information you add: relationship status, shared context, private notes, draft text, decisions, and follow-up dates.
- Operational state: whether Radar is enabled, the current observation stage, and timestamps needed for expiry and diagnostics. Paths for private feed, messaging, and notification pages are reduced to fixed non-identifying prefixes.
Where data goes
CareerGraph v0.3.9 stores its working data in your browser’s local extension storage. The extension contains no analytics SDK, advertising SDK, remote AI request, telemetry endpoint, or data-sale mechanism. Your observed signals and private relationship notes are not transmitted to ISSALABS.
The public CareerGraph landing page loads its display fonts from Google Fonts, which can expose ordinary website-request metadata to Google; the extension itself does not load those assets. Opening a user-approved LinkedIn search, company page, or profile uses the normal browser and is subject to LinkedIn’s own terms and privacy practices. CareerGraph is independent of and not endorsed by LinkedIn.
Permissions and consent
LinkedIn site access is optional. CareerGraph requests access to https://www.linkedin.com/* only when you enable Ambient Radar. Pausing Radar disables observation, unregisters its page observer, and asks the browser to remove that optional access. If browser cleanup is incomplete, Radar remains paused in local state and reports the cleanup warning rather than claiming success.
Retention and control
- Unpromoted observations expire after 30 days.
- Ignoring an observation removes captured content and retains only an opaque suppression fingerprint; it expires after 30 days without another matching observation.
- You can pause observation at any time.
- You can export your local data as JSON or CSV.
- You can delete all CareerGraph data from the extension in one action.
- Uninstalling the extension removes its local extension storage according to your browser’s behavior.
Security and limitations
CareerGraph validates observation messages against the active LinkedIn tab and canonical job, company, or profile identity, requires dedicated top-card identity evidence, excludes private hiring/contact modules, bounds captured fields, and keeps content scripts under Manifest V3 restrictions. No browser extension can guarantee absolute security. Keep your browser updated and install only artifacts published by ISSALABS.
Changes and contact
Material changes will be reflected on this page and in release documentation. Questions can be directed through ISSALABS.
